As an Australian living in Thailand the banking situation here is hopeless for foreigners, No interest on deposits in banks, No Debit cards or credit cards, if you are real lucky all you get is a savings A/C with ATM card. When I first decided to try and get an A/C in France I was a bit worried about being scammed again but NO all you have done is try to help me in getting my French bank account opened. I mean real help no matter what the problem has been you were always there to guide me through the tricky parts. So to give you a testimonial is the least I can do. I have some internet businesses from which I regularly receive US dollar checks, but I'd like deposited in a bank account in France. It takes more than a month to clear the checks from my country. Now that I have opened a French Multi-Currency account, I can save both time and money by banking the checks directly into the account. I can also transfer funds to my account from Paypal now. Before this, there was no way for me to withdraw funds since Paypal doesn't allow withdrawals to my local bank accounts here.
